Sergeant Dan Kerr came to the Bellaire PD in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administration of Justice from Southern Illinois University. Sgt. Kerr currently holds a Master Peace Officer License and is an Advanced Accident Investigator and Crash Reconstructionist. During his tenure, Sgt. Kerr has held the positions of Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Detective, and Qualified Officer for Child Abuse Investigations, Bike Officer, Patrol Corporal, Patrol Sergeant, and Office of Professional Development Sergeant.
Sergeant Darrell Hollie began his career with the Bellaire Police Department in July 2004. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Prairie View A&M University. Sgt. Hollie holds a Master Peace Officer Certification through TCOLE.
Corporal Shane O' Sullivan started his career in law enforcement as an officer in the State of Missouri. In 2014 Cpl. O’Sullivan moved to Texas and began serving with the Bellaire Police Department. Cpl. O’Sullivan is a Firearms Instructor and currently holds a Master Peace Officer Certificate.
Corporal James Baylishas served with the United States Air Force and United States Navy, with a focus on anti-terrorism and force protection. Corporal Baylis began his civilian law enforcement career in 2013 as a patrol deputy with the Precinct 5 Harris County Constables Office and served with the Strategic Response Unit. Corporal Baylis joined the Bellaire Police Department in 2019 and holds a Master Peace Officer Certification through TCOLE.
