Bellaire Tennis Court Information

All Bellaire tennis courts are open to the public for free court usage, provided that they are not already reserved. Bellaire tennis courts may be reserved to ensure up to 2 hours of specific court time. You can make a reservation in person or over the phone at the Bellaire Recreation Center by calling 713-662-8280.

Residents

  • Fee is $3 for 1 hour of court time
  • May reserve court up to one week in advance. Only one court may be reserved at a time.
  • A receipt and reservation permit will be given as proof or reservation

Non-Residents

  • Fee is $5 for 1 hr of court time
  • May reserve court two days in advance. Only one court may be reserved at a time.
  • A receipt and reservation permit will be given as proof of reservation

Tennis Court Rules

  • City of Bellaire Tennis Courts are open to the public, however they may be reserved to secure a specific time. Fees do apply.
  • Residents may book 2 hours of court time & may reserve up to one week in advance.
  • Non-Residents may book 1 hour of court time and may only reserve a court 2 days in advance.
  • Reservations can be made over the phone at 713-662-8280, online (below), or in-person at the Bellaire Recreation Center.
  • Reserved court times, approved lessons, and leagues have priority over walk-ups.
  • Private classes/lessons must be approved by Parks and Recreation Department. 
  • Please observe court etiquette:
    • Do not cross courts while ball is in play
    • Do not lean on nets
    • Place trash in cans.
    • Only Tennis is allowed to be played on courts, with the exception of Pickleball on the Bellaire courts.
    • No loud music, yelling, or profane language.
    • Bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades and black-soled shoes are PROHIBITED on the courts.
