Sergeant Daniel Kerr
Sgt. Kerr came to the Bellaire PD in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administration of Justice from Southern Illinois University. Sgt. Kerr currently holds a Master Peace Officer License and is an Advanced Accident Investigator and Crash Reconstructionist. During his tenure, Sgt. Kerr has held the positions of Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Detective, and Qualified Officer for Child Abuse Investigations, Bike Officer, Patrol Corporal, Patrol Sergeant, and Office of Professional Development Sergeant. Sgt. Kerr is currently assigned to the Patrol Division and oversees the day to day operations of the day shift.
Sergeant Darrel Hollie
Sgt. Hollie began his career in July 2004. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Prairie View A&M University. Sgt. Hollie loves all aspects of his job and often fills in to assist in other areas.
Sergeant Anthony Hefferin
Sergeant Hefferin served in the United States Navy from 1993 to 1998. After completing his military service, he began his law enforcement career as a Jailer for the Houston Police Department. Later that same year, Sgt Hefferin moved to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office as a Corrections Officer. Sgt Hefferin attended the Gus George Law Enforcement Academy in 1999 and later transferred to the Sheriff's Office Patrol Division. Sgt Hefferin began working with the Bellaire Police Department in 2004. Sgt Hefferin enjoys spending his free time with his beautiful extremely supportive wife and two energetic sons.
Corporal Doug Clawson
Doug Clawson began working for the City of Bellaire in October of 2007, initially for the Fire Department and then transferring over to the Police Department in February of 2009. Corporal Clawson has worked in a variety of positions such as Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Detective, and Corporal. Corporal Clawson is a member of the department's Special Response team, is a Firearms Instructor, and a dayshift supervisor. Corporal Clawson has completed his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and currently holds an Advanced Peace Officer Certificate. Corporal Clawson enjoys his time outside of work working out, bike riding, traveling, and spending time with his girlfriend and his two children. Corporal Clawson plans on spending his career with the City of Bellaire and promoting through the ranks into higher leadership positions and one day leading this department.
Corporal Andre Porter
Corporal Andre Porter- 9 years US Marine Corp (Semper Fi)
Corporal Porter has been with the City of Bellaire Police Department since May 2005- Present
Cpl. Porter list of assignments – SRT (Special Response Team member), FTO (Field Training Officer), Advanced Accident Investigator, Physical Fitness Coordinator, RAD Instructor (Rape Aggression Defense), Taser Instructor, Advanced Peace Officer, and Honor Guard Team Member.
Corporal Karen Kramer
Corporal Kramer graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. She began her career as a Federal Investigator working primarily with Department of Defense background investigations. Corporal Kramer then began working as a Pretrial Officer for Harris County Pretrial Services working directly with Harris County Probable Cause Court. During this time Corporal Kramer went through University of Houston Police Academy where she graduated with academic achievement recognition in May of 2009.
In July 2009 Corporal Kramer was hired with the Bellaire Police Department as a Patrol Officer. Since then Corporal Kramer has achieved her Advanced Peace Officer Certificate and Intermediate Accident Investigator Certification.
