Spruce and Fifth
Streets and Drainage Project

City Council recently approved a construction contract for the Spruce and Fifth Street project. This project is funded through the 2016 bond program and will result in drainage and paving improvements along Spruce and Fifth Streets. Included in the design, as identified in the City's Comprehensive Plan for that area, are landscape features and additional parking in the City rights-of-way.

Bellaire City Library

It's tax time again, and Bellaire City Library is a great resource. The 1040 tax form, as well as instruction booklets, are currently available for free at the Library. Staff can also help you locate and print additional forms online.

Party at the Pavilion-The Fab 5!

Friday, March 1, 2019, marks the start of the Party at the Pavilion free concert series in Bellaire Town Square (7008 South Rice Avenue) with a local favorite - The Fab 5. The Bellaire Police Officer's Association along with HEB will be sponsoring free hot dogs and soft drinks for the crowd.

Join us the first Friday of every month through November for the Party at the Pavilion free concert series. Upcoming acts include the talented Sarah Grace from The Voice, The Bourbon Street Experience and Drywater.

Thanks to the PATRONS for Bellaire Parks and the City of Bellaire for making these concerts happen. Come out and join the fun!

City Hall Construction and Parking

Parking during the second phase of construction of the Civic Center to be attached to the newly completed City Hall has been modified for your safety. There will be limited parking and no pedestrian access along South Rice Avenue between Jessamine Street and the new City Hall building. Please park along Jessamine Street, Fifth Street or at the Bellaire Recreation Center and walk through the park to access City Hall. Parking signs are posted around the construction zone directing you to park in the designated areas.
