Overview

The Civic Center is located inside the Bellaire City Hall building. This space is ideal for large gatherings, banquets, meetings, ceremonies, and more. The room features retractable walls, which allow for the option to create an auditorium space and two meeting rooms. Rectangular tables (6-ft.) and chairs are included with rental; all other tables or chairs must be rented from an outside vendor and must be delivered/picked up within the rental timeframe.

Audio-Visual Features: Projector, speaker system, microphones, two 65" TVs with HDMI and USB connection.

Whole Complex

Enjoy the use of the entire room (including both meeting rooms) with or without divider walls, stage, and kitchen.
The Whole Complex includes:
  • Use of the entire Civic Center space (including both meeting rooms) with or without divider walls
  • Projector with drop-down screen
  • Optional use of the stage
  • Optional use of a fully functional kitchen with stainless steel appliances, freezer, refrigerator, microwave, ovens, gas stove, ice maker, coffee maker, and double sink

Rental Fees

A minimum of three (3) hours is required for all indoor facility rentals. Rental time must include set-up, clean-up, and any equipment drop-off/pickup.

Reservations

Rental requests must be submitted a minimum of one (1) month in advance but no more than twelve (12) months prior to the reservation date requested. All facility reservations have a minimum 3-hour reservation requirement.

Facilities can be reserved for the following days/times, subject to staffing and room availability: Weekdays (Sun-Thurs) from 7:00 am-10:00 pm and Weekends (Fri-Sat) from 7:00am-midnight. Facilities may not be reserved on holidays or holiday weekends.

Deposit

Deposit and signed permit application are required to make a reservation. Total fee must be paid in full by cash, check, or credit card two weeks before rental.

Special Events

A special event permit may be required if the rental meets one or more of the following criteria: 

  • Open to the public
  • Has 50 or more people in attendance
  • Has alcohol

Additional permits, security, or documentation may be required at the renter’s expense to issue a special event permit.

Non-Profits & Organizations

Rental rates are discounted for non-profits and organizations in Bellaire. Groups must have 501(c)(3) status and a two-thirds majority of Bellaire Residents. Please contact the Bellaire Parks and Recreation for more information.

Tables and Chairs

Tables and chairs are included in the rental price, subject to availability in the specific room. All other tables and chairs must be rented through an outside vendor, not the City of Bellaire.
