The City of Bellaire has three outdoor tennis facilities which also have pickleball lines painted on them. For more information on each facility, use the tabs below.

Bellaire Tennis Courts - 7008 Fifth St. (behind Bellaire Recreation Center)

The Bellaire Tennis Courts are located directly behind the Bellaire Recreation Center at 7008 Fifth Street. There are two full-sized tennis courts with pickleball lines also painted on them. The net is a regulation tennis net, and there is not a regulation-height pickleball net. There are lights available for playing after dark.

Reservations

All tennis courts can be used on a first-come first-served basis, however reservations are also available to ensure a specific date and time. Reserving an outdoor court for Pickleball follows the same rules and process as reserving a court for tennis. 

  • Reservations are $5/hr for residents, or $10/hr for non-residents.
  • Residents can reserve up to 7 days in advance; Non-residents can reserve up to 2 days in advance. 
  • An individual can only reserve one tennis court per day.
  • An individual cannot make a reservation for more than two hours at a time.
  • Reserved court times have priority over walk-up users.
  • Reservations can be made online or over the phone at 713-662-8280.
  • Private classes/lessons must be approved by the Parks and Recreation Department.

GENERAL NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC REGARDING TENNIS INSTRUCTION

Under section 27-97 of the Code of Ordinances for the City of Bellaire, it is unlawful for an individual to conduct business as a tennis instructor on City of Bellaire property without written consent from the city. If you are interested in obtaining a contract with the City of Bellaire, please contact Derick Bugg at dbugg@bellairetx.gov.
